Thirty-seven: January 15, 2014 Genova

A fun Italiano experience.


so in Milano on monday, we thought to grab a snack...ha ha, I laugh, but you'll get why in a sec


So in the train station is a cafe.  we bought a hot chocolate and a croissant.
Sorella Harward and I sat in this little train station cafe, with trains passing by and it was all foggy outside.  Beautiful, peaceful....

I just cant describe it the right way.

I love Italy.

I'm trying to get all of my memories together.  I started an italy/mission journal...wow...basically I'm like scrapbooking, shoot me! ha ha.- no but it's pretty.  I have my call and blessings and pictures in it. I love it.  I wish I had started it sooner. oh well, I have it now.

I want to remember every second.

I'm really going to miss Italy when I come home.  There is just a strong spirit here.  Yeah, there isn't a lot of gospel knowledge here yet, but there is a peace in the lifestyle.

I'm trying to gather recipes and listen to people when they talk about how or what they eat.

There are 2 sisters in my apartment that are at the end of their service, and so it gets me thinking about the person I want to be at the end and what I want to have accomplished.  I think it's good for me because it helps me remember that I need to be the right kind of missionary and person.


I had my transfer blessing yesterday and Heavenly Father said that I will grow in this transfer and that my  many righteous desires will continue to increase as I work.  he said I have been doing my best-- it was so nice to hear.


For District Meeting, I gave the spiritual thought about prayer.

I should have a Preach My Gospel in my bookshelf - pages 93-94 ish there is an activity, a chart and it tells you to rate your prayers.  it helped me realized how sincere or insincere I am and how I can strengthen my side of the communication with Heavenly Father.  Its great.  read the section called ''pray with faith''.

STRENGTHEN YOUR PRAYERS....for if you think about it, prayer is the basis of everything.

you need to ask to receive, you pray to show faith, you thank Him through prayer.

Prayer is the first thing we do in the morning and the last at night...quindi, if your prayers aren't good, your days wont be much better.
